A dynamic media and tech creative, Kaikohe-raised Ariki is known for his tenacity and passion for Film, Audio and Workflow systems.
As a pioneer within NZ’s growing music industry, Ariki works toward spreading equality and equity within NZ music’s lgbtq community, and hopes to make music industry work accessible for all people, across all socio-economic backgrounds.
Before joining Auckland’s creative powerhouse Poynton Studios, Ariki was lucky enough to work in the U.S. (Massachusetts, Boston NY) doing onset production before shifting to music production and social media content generation.
In 2019, they started their own education and media label named Milkgang, and is currently still working as a freelancer at Poynton Studios where he specialises in post-production and audio editing. Ariki is hoping to expand his work into wider media.
In their spare time Ariki likes to foster cats, paint and work on LiDAR based projects on Blender.
